North Tyneside Coast app for iPhone and iPad

This App is aimed at people with an interest in the coastline of the North East of England.

Often overlooked, the North Tyneside Coast, encompasses North Shields Fish Quay, Tynemouth, Cullercoats and Whitley Bay, has six miles of beautiful coastline. The App focuses on some of the most interesting trails and sights, things to do and things to see.

The beauty of the coastline is celebrated with a series of beautiful pictures which change on a daily basis. Themes such as sunrises, sunsets, night shots, beach views, cafes, places to get ice cream, good places to watch incoming and outgoing ships.

A number of trails are featured; The Royal Quays Art Walk, Tynemouth Blue Plaque Walk, North Shields Heritage Trail, the Coastal Heritage Trail, Robert Westall Walk and Cullercoats as an Artists Colony.

The App features a Twitter stream which highlights things to do and see each day on Tyneside.
